I am sure. every tea planner has had one of these. Well, my Victorian Valentine's Tea was a little disappointing for me because I feel I was not on point.
First of all, my food was not out before my guest arrived. Therefore, I was still in the pantry preparing the last of the sandwiches. And the scones were still in the oven.
As the guest arrived, I mistakenly asked them them to put their outer attire the in my ladies parlor which limited comfortable sitting space.
I had planned for some of the ladies to sit in the ladies parlor and enjoy a small presentation, on DVD, given by the wonderful Lady Victoriana, on "How to dress a proper Victorian Lady"
Speaking of comfortable sitting arrangement, It was not, because all my guest seemed to want to sit together in the fount parlor. which I found was very cramped.
But all-in-all, the tea was in abundance, the water was always hot and the sweets , treats and spirits were delightful. The guest came in grand Victorian style attire and egar to partake of Lady Estelle's Annual Victorian Valentine's Day Tea.
I do want to thank my guest that attend and apologized for any inconvenience that it may have caused them.
My planning of this tea was interrupted by a snow storm the week before. I guarantee that next year will be most enjoyable. ~Lady Estelle~
