September Tea Chat!
September is my
favorite month of the year. I love the changing of the color of the
leaves , the cool evening, the clean crisp mornings and the renewal of
the season...
I am planning the the End of the Summer Tea with the seasonal berries, pumpkin and apples to wake the season up nicely. The Tea Salon is ready for the charming colorful month of September. It is a new month, new season and a good time flavorful seasonal tea.
Great time to invite some of your family and friends over for a "September Celebration Tea".
It will be a renewed experience. Summer is over and it is time for new adventures. Sit and talk about your Summer fun and what plans you have for the cooler weather.
All my guest have agreed that they will be able to come to the Salon more often, now that kids are back to school, vacations is over and it time to enjoy the "Me Time".
This is a great way to re-cop from the hustle and bustle of Summer.
Time to take in the sounds of tranquility and the smells of home baked goods. Perfect time to warm up the oven after a long Summer shut down.

This is a beautiful story of an amazing lady. I wish I had meet her. She is a perfect example of growing old gracefully.
She is my inspiration of living a quiet and peaceful lifestyle.
August Tea Table Chat!
Keep a variety of hot tea on hand. Orange pekoe and English breakfast are the most popular blend to serve with a meal. Delicate oolong, smoky souchong and the spicy blends are appropriate for afternoon tea. Store tea in a tightly covered tin away from spices or other aromatic foods. Warm a china or earthenware pot (metal changes the flavor of the tea) by rinsing it with boiling water. Measure the tea into the pot- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon per cup according to the quality of the tea and the desired strength. Pour in just enough boiling water so that the tea leaves float freely Cover and let stand 3 minutes (longer steeping develops a bitter taste), Strain, and dilute with boiling water. Serve tea in delicate china cups with cube sugar or rock candy, cream or milk (English tea lovers insist on milk), and thin slices of lemon. For a spicy flavor, stick each lemon slice with two or three cloves, Serve China tea or smoky souchong tea clear with nothing to distract from the distinctive bouquet.

Happy 4th of July America! 4th of July tea party
So my dear friends, enjoy you summer time tea and stay cool!
It is a colorful time to prepare the house to celebrate Independence Day.
Why not take that old
American flag out of it's triangle case and honor it by mounting it on the
wall.
For the 4th, put it on full display in all of it's red, white,
and blue glory.
I love my blue and white porcelain tea set and I find it perfect to represent of the holiday.
